Since I got the vinyl cutter, I’ve been going nuts with stickers.
You can see above the concept I came up with for the bus, as well as a picture of the final product at a show. A friend brought her pig and we happened to snap this picture.
Its a barrel organ that is programmable. This means the pegs on the barrel are removable. The 4 pipes are for flames, controlled by the barrel as well.
You can see the basic idea here. It isn’t really to scale, or showing any system for the flame valves (I don’t know how that would work yet). [UPDATE] here are 2 more images to show the action. The xylophone action and the flame valve action. I would like it to be purely mechanical, though I may have to resort to electronic means.
You can also see a 3d rendering of the inner workings here. Again, not very detailed, just toying with ideas.
I doubt I’ll ever really get this thing together, but it would be neat wouldn’t it?
I needed to practice sculpting a bit. I haven’t touched zbrush in forever. I really wanted to do some real sculpting, but all I have right now is sculpy.
I’ve added some pictures to the galleries, just some sketches and stuff.
I like pugs. There is actually a peculiar correlation between vw enthusiasts and pugs. go to a VW show or campout. you WILL see pugs. This was roughly 20 min of goofing around. No reference or anything.
This is the first of a series of HO scale dioramas I want to do. This one is titled “have a nice trip” as the only non zombie appears to have just tripped while trying to escape.
The picture doesn’t quite convey how tiny these are. two of these little guys could lay on my fingernail, comfortably.
This is really my first try at modelling something with sculpey. I have a project in mind that will require teeny tiny itty bitty zombies. He is rather large compared to what I’m wanting to do. He’s maybe an inch tall.
